Darkroom print on archival paper finished in museum varnish. Framed in ceramic, a round 'Vortex' plaster of paris frame finished in matt black shellac. 

The 'Vortex' design emulates the gravitational pull of a black hole.

ARTISTS NOTES: Astronomers have used spinning stars called pulsars to create a galaxy-sized gravitational wave detector revealing the presence of ripples in space-time across the entire universe. 

Cymatic experiments emulate the process with the study of wave phenomena. Created using physics, photography, liquid and light without the use of CGI, AI or any other form of digital production.
